Owner Statement Unit for sale is a 2006 Freightliner Business Class M2 with a 10 speed Eaton Fuller Transmission. Engine is a MBE4000 425 HP Mercedes Benz. Truck has only 64,900 Miles and comes with electric windows, cruise control, engine exhaust brake, full lockers on Differential and Axle Interlock. Rear bumper plate has provisions to pull a pintle hitch or bumper pull trailer. Truck has Alcoa Aluminum rims all around, Front Rubber 85% or better, Rear Rubber probably 40%. Truck interior is in good shape. Driver seat has some wear holes but that is to be expected. Passenger seat, dash and glass are all in good condition. Annual Inspection on truck is good until January.
Truck also includes 3 Stainless Buyers tool and storage boxes. The rear box is steel with the Stainless door, the other two are completely stainless.
Hydroseeder is a 2007 T-330 with the John Deere 4045T 125 HP engine. Hydroseeder has only 1350 Hours and has been serviced every 100-150 hours and annually whether it needed it or not. Some modifications to the machine included Trash Enclosure we built to accept trash bags on top of the unit with a locking bag lid, makes cleanup and housekeeping a breeze. Stainless upgrades to the agitator control panel and oil cooler shroud. We also replaced the oil cooler fan at the same time we replaced the fan shroud. Top of the machine has been removed, blasted, hot dip galvanized and poly coated with a truck bed liner. The galvanizing should last 50 years according to the company that did it for us. We also coated the top of the tank around the edge when we had the top off. We installed a chemical resistant weather stripping around the perimeter of the top of the tank to seat it after installation. We have also replaced all the bolts with Stainless Round head bolts and hex head bolts on the entire lid. I am not sure why Finn did not do this in the first place but it is done now. Some of the poly liner has worn off and some has worn off the rear deck and around the top of the tank, this is not a big deal to touch up. In January(when we get slow for the winter) we were going to correct any deficiencies in the coating to protect the steel.
Tank is in excellent condition as shown in the pictures. I would say 9.5 out of 10 or better. It makes a huge difference in longevity of a tank on how you treat it. Tank, pump, and hose are rinsed after every use. We have never used abrasives in tank like Lime or Daily Landfill Cover material.
Turret has new joints and joint seals(last 6 months) and the foot valve has also been replaced in the last two years.
Bearings for both agitators have been replaced in the last two years and get greased usually every 2-4 tanks, if not every tank of operation. Impeller is removed annually and re-sealed and inspected for defects. Impeller plate is set to .040” for standard hydromulches. We also deleted the gate valve on this machine, it improves flow to the pump for easier priming and pumping.
